Douglas – exhibiting responsibly

Sustainability can be luxurious, too. For our client Douglas, we delivered an exhibition stand that brings together design, responsibility and brand identity in perfect balance.

The brief: to develop a stand concept that meets the highest aesthetic standards while also setting new benchmarks in sustainability. Premium look and feel? Absolutely. But without compromising on the ecological footprint.

A modern exhibition stand for Douglas displays various beauty and skincare products on cylindrical wooden stands, with information signs, green accents and a background showing the Douglas logo and text.

The result: bingo. Together with Douglas, we created a material concept that reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 90% compared to conventional construction methods. This was made possible through resource-efficient production, lower transport weights and maximum reusability.

The key material used was Swedboard – a paper-based, FSC®-certified lightweight construction material that is 100% recyclable. Instead of disguising the material, we chose to put it centre stage: clean forms, visible structures and understated elegance. The result is a modern, tactile brand environment that fits Douglas perfectly – and clearly demonstrates that sustainable exhibition construction can do much more than just be environmentally friendly.

All in all, a project very much to our taste: design with attitude, sustainability with style – and clear proof that responsible exhibition construction can long since be a premium standard.
